Intango in Heidelberg

Our weekly classes and milongas take place at our new Tango Center Heidelberg, located at Mary-Somerville-Platz 5.

Intango – Tango Center Heidelberg at Mary-Somerville-Platz 5

Parking: Free parking is available for guests of Mary Somerville Square at the corner of Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Ring and Caroline-Herschel-Straße. Additional free parking is available across from the park and outside the hip in the adjacent streets.

Alternatively, you can park in the hip / P20 parking garage at Heidelberg Innovation Park. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Mary-Somerville-Platz 5.

Public Transportation: From Heidelberg Central Station, take bus line 33 to Innovation Park (hip). From there, it’s about 600 meters (8 minutes) on foot to Mary-Somerville-Platz. The Mary-Somerville-Platz (hip) stop is currently not in service due to construction.

Intango – Tango Center Heidelberg at 10 Hegenichstraße

Due to renovation work, no events are currently being held at Hegenichstraße 10.

Parking: Please use the free parking spaces at Hegenichstraße 2. Be sure to park within the marked lines (to avoid getting a parking ticket).

Public Transportation: From Heidelberg West Central Station: Take the S2 S-Bahn to the “Kirchheim/Rohrbach” station (2-minute ride), then walk 877 meters (13 minutes) or take bus 33 to the “Kirchheim/Rathaus” stop (16-minute ride), then a 163-meter walk
From Heidelberg Süd/Bahnstadt Central Station: Take tram 26 to the “Kirchheim/Rathaus” stop (9-minute ride) or bus 721 (10-minute ride), then walk 153 meters From Bismarckplatz: Take tram 26 to the “Kirchheim/Rathaus” stop (18-minute ride), then walk 153 meters

Intango in Ludwigshafen

Some of our international tango events take place at Cinema Paradiso & Arte in Ludwigshafen, including the Neo Nights Festival and the Paradiso Milonguero – Tango Marathon.

The location is somewhat hidden in an inner courtyard, directly to the left of the Rudolf-Scharpf-Galerie – look out for the red carpet, it marks the entrance.

Parking: There are a few nearby parking spots on the following streets: Hemshofstraße, Goerdelerplatz, Rohrlachstraße 32, Leuchnerstraße. If you don’t want to spend a long time looking for a parking spot, use the parking garage at Mottstraße 11, which is a five-minute walk away.

Public Transportation: From Ludwigshafen Central Station: Take the “RNV 70” bus to the “Goerdelerplatz” stop (11-minute ride), then walk 322 meters (5 minutes), or take tram 10 to the “Hein.-Ries-Halle” stop (3-minute ride), then walk 687 meters (11 minutes). At night, the “RNV 97” bus runs hourly from the “BASF Süd” stop (2-minute walk).
