Every year, Intango organizes international tango events in Heidelberg and the surrounding region. Renowned orchestras, artists, and DJs from Buenos Aires and around the world come together in formats that showcase tango as a vibrant cultural practice—traditional, musically diverse, contemporary, and open to new forms of expression.

Many of our events take place in special venues—including historic and artistic locations such as Heidelberg Castle or the newly restored Stadthalle. These spaces lend the events an atmosphere in which tango is not only danced but also experienced as a cultural event.

Our vision is to further develop Heidelberg and the surrounding region as a recognized hub of international tango culture: through events that bring people together, foster cultural and artistic exchange, and have an impact far beyond the city limits.
