Every year, we host several international tango events in Heidelberg and the surrounding region. Renowned orchestras, artists, and DJs from Buenos Aires and around the world come together in carefully curated formats that present tango as a living cultural practice – from traditional tango to neo and contemporary forms of expression.

Our event formats attract visitors from many countries. Many of these events take place in selected historic and artistic venues such as Heidelberg Castle and the newly restored Stadthalle, whose atmosphere supports tango not only as a dance, but as a cultural experience.

Our vision: to create meaningful tango cultural experiences and develop Heidelberg and the region into a recognized hub of international tango culture – with events that connect people, enable exchange, deepen artistic practice, and have an impact far beyond the city.
